New Chitose Airport has various types of facilities and services to serve passengers with physical disabilities.

Accessible Toilet

Restrooms with ostomate and wheelchair-friendly toilets and sinks available.
Entrance doors automatically open and close with the touch of a button, with wide entrances to provide for smooth entrance and exit.
Interiors feature installed handrails and low sinks.
Additionally, restroom entrances feature an audio guidance panel, providing worry-free use for visually impaired passengers as well.

All elevators in the passenger terminal building are wheelchair accessible with spacious design and lower installed control panels.

Each platform is installed with nearby ramps designated for the physically disabled. In addition, raised tiles for the visually impaired are installed on the floor, leading from the platform to nearby Airport Information counters.
