Marukame is a salmon specialty store established in Sapporo's Maruyama district in 1935. The shop uses only carefully selected fresh local salmon. Its popular fresh salmon sashimi is not to be missed. Since its establishment, the shop's owner has visited salmon fishing grounds at the height of the fishing season, and carefully selects and buys fresh fish at local processing plants. The purchased
